Action to the mic

     Colin Fowler (12) and Matthew Ross (12) tried podcasting out as a new class for their last year of high school. They went beyond just sitting in the studio and recording. Fowler and Ross made a phone call to the co-founder of Culver’s, Craig Culver. Their teacher Ms. Michelle Corbett was surprised, but soon found out they had an interview with him. 

     “I took away a lot of advice, one of which being to never give up,” Fowler said. “Culver's just about failed, but he stuck to his values and look where it took him.” 

     They started to explore more options and people to interview. They had interviewed many people such as Gov. Tony Evers, Michael Willkomn and many others. 

     “My favorite interview was when I got to go visit the Wisconsin Capitol building and interview Gov. Tony Evers,” Ross said. "I learned a lot from him and sparked my interest in being in politics.”
