Having a strong advertisement is key to having more sales for your yearbook. Students now are usually on TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. So having a connection with students, keeping up with trends and hanging up flyers. Also relating to them is very important so that we can increase our sales. My copy editor, Ava Smith makes most of the flyers for us to hang around the school. She bases it off of holidays ex. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Along with that we come up with TikTok ideas that keep with trends during that time. My main focus is for our social media I feel when I am on camera I'm most comfortable so with being comfortable I can entertain.
How many books are we selling

Using a fake microphone to be more interactive with students and teachers to ask them how many books we are selling. It was originally a trend and some people got it but others not so much. This is when we decided to put in bloopers
Running to buy my yearbook

This TikTok was used to create a sense of urgency to order your yearbook before prices went up.
Tour of our Yearbook Room

The idea for this TikTok came from an open house we had and I was giving tours to middle schoolers, I showed them what we do around the classroom and showed how much work we actually put into the yearbook. So then we decided to show the rest of the school how the news room works.
We won all American

We obviously had to announce that we had won All-American, and this was another fun way to show it.
